Oude Kerk Amsterdam
Traditional Dutch Brass Chandeliers
Oude Kerk Amsterdam
In 2006, five new brass chandeliers, each over 2.8 metres tall, were installed in the nave and choir of the Oude Kerk Amsterdam. Together with the Oude Kerk team, special shields were attached to the stem of each brass chandelier. These are crowned coats of arms that tell a story about the history of Amsterdam and its inhabitants.
The five brass chandeliers hang in the museum and thus illuminate the other exhibitions and works of art presented throughout the year.
The dimmable LED lamps consume very little energy, this is an economical and sustainable solution for the long term. There is a suitable adjustment for every exhibition or event. The warm and clear candlelight provides an atmospheric effect.
